About

Camille Lagunera is a Bay Area-based writer and scholar. Her poetry and fiction spans American mythologies, sexuality, and intertextuality across visual and literary art forms. She works with the Haight Ashbury Literary Journal and is involved in arts programming in San Francisco. When she’s not alchemizing her existential dread into art, she can be found roaming the city in search of stories, collecting vintage Playboy magazines, and drinking green tea. She is currently working on a thesis researching modern manifestations of écriture féminine in representations of kink and BDSM in contemporary women’s literature.
